After a five hour give through the Columbia George and the Wind Farms of Oregon we arrived in John Day,Oregon.
Moving to our new campsite. It was perfect, except for the bull frog that would rib-it, all night and all day.

Ready to head to church in John Day. As you can see we had a very large campsite.
A Sunday drive high up the in mountains lead us to this perfect lake to cool off, once again.

We finished the trip in Fossil Oregon where we dug for our own fossil. We found quite a few plants, and got to bring them home.
The long drive was worth every minute.

Looks like you had a great time. We've yet to be camping this summer. Hopefully, Labor Day weekend.
It looks so warm! The boys thought the painted hills were really cool. We'll have to add that to the list to visit someday. That darn list just keeps getting longer!
