Peace, Love, Bono

After two years of waiting in was finally time for the U2 360 Tour to come to Seattle. Let me just say it was worth the wait.
I had to go with someone who would enjoy it as much as myself, if that's possible, so I bought a ticket for Kami as her graduation gift.
First we made a stop by the Fremont Troll and a night at KP's then we headed to the Qwest Field.
We are masters at getting better seats, then the ones we bought, and once again we proved our greatness as we got third row stadium seating. Our tickets were some where up in the 300 level, we actually never made it to them.
We sang and danced all night long, as Bono, The Edge, Adam and Larry performed their best, latest and oldest hits.

Next stop...Dublin.

NW Flowers Like Non Others

April showers defiantly brought out the flowers, although the showers kept on going this May.
The showers stayed away the day I headed down to Woodburn, OR to see the tulips. The colors were beautiful and vibrant.
Mom and Dad and I headed to the Lilac Gardens in Woodland, WA, that day we weren't quite as lucky with the weather. The rain, however didn't over shadow the smell and colors of the 100 different varieties of lilacs.

Happy Birthday Kami

Whats the best way to spend your birthday in the winter? Hit the mountain skiing. At first we were a little worried about the weather. However, it turned out to be a nice day. The snow wasn't the best but it was there and the sun was out.
After the skiing we headed to the ward Temple baptisms then got a group to head to Kami's house to celebrate a little more.

Happy Birthday to my BFF!

Christmas Cabin

One of my Christmas gifts this year was stay at a cabin. After spending Christmas days at Laura's we headed to Trout Lake, Wa. Where Mom and Dad had booked two nights at a cabin.
It was a perfect cozy place. That even had a nice hot tub to enjoy. There was lots of snow just want I wanted. After dinner we went for a walk and started in play, ended up making a snow dog.
The weather took a turn for the worse and it started to rain but we just spent a lazy day reading, watching movies and playing games.
Of course when we started to leave it started to snow. It was still a great relaxing get away.

Thanksgiving In Carnation

Thanksgiving was spent at Laura's with my three little nieces. As always it was crazy and fun. Laura made a wonderful dinner with Turkey, Duck and Salmon.
The best part was when we sat down for dinner we were present with a paper that had written why the Mills were grateful for each of us. It was very touching a wonderful gift. Melia had a great one when she said...I'm grateful you have red hair so I can tell you and mommy apart. How precious!
Wii...Sherk 3. Rding the Donkey and the Sack Races were a hit.
Playing in the attic while getting Christmas decorations down.

Grandma loving Ellie

Just hanging around...Melia truly is.
It snowed!!! That was the second best part.

A month of Harry Potter

My friend Arianne found out that I had never see the Harry Potter movies. The new movie was coming out in a month so we decided to watch them all so I could go see it with her.
In the mean time Arianne called me up one Thursday and asked if I wanted to go to Orland to The Harry Potter World. She works for the airlines so the flight was free. We left Friday Morning and came back Tuesday. It was a blast. We went to Universal and Treasure Island. Even though I'm not the biggest fan of Harry Potter it was amazing. The weather was great and we met a lot of great people.
A few weeks after we got back then we headed to the theater to see the first half of movie number 7.

Sprint Tri Relay

I was signed up for a relay Triathlon with Andy and Joseph my first ever. And it was just a week before my knee blew out and I couldn't walk.
However I didn't want to let them down so I was determined to do my part, a 13 mile bike ride.
The drive the Bellingham was spent, talking singing and Joseph sleeping. As we arose in the morning the rain was coming down as we set off for Lake Sammamish. We geared up and were ready to go. Joseph was our swimmer, me the biker, and Andy our runner.
We came in 7th! Sure there were only 7 relays, but that's ok, it was still fun. It really wasn't any ones best day.
However, we did win the raffle!

Shoot em Up

Saturday was a typical fall day in the Northwest. Wet and a little chilly but that didn't stop the boys, Matt and Witt, from taking Arianne and I out in the woods for a little shooting practice.
When we arrived the back of the car was opened and the guns were laid out, Jack Bauer and CTU would of been impressed with the variety of guns and ammunition that were displayed.
The targets were set and war began. I think my inner Sydney Bristo came out.

My Island Home

The time had come again to take flight over the great pacific to my island home. Once again it was filled in Sun, Sand, Tan, Adventure and injuries.

We adventured into Honolulu for a night and hit the town...after we created a traffic jam waiting for a parking spot, and after I ran 6 blocks in a skirt and barefoot to get my camera I forgot.
Photo op, after an afternoon snorkeling. Which we did everyday we where there.I hadn't been to the PPC for years. So it was fun to go back. It helped that Bucky's dad got me in for the day and the night show for $20. Gotta love a great hook up.

An amazing day spent kayaking and snorkeling...until a guy slammed his kayak into my knee...which was already recovering from an injury. I was out for the rest of the day. But I didn't complain having to lay on the beach. One of the many amazing sunsets.

The week was amazing but the best part was being able to spend a whole week with Bucky!
